Our pieta is a version of Michelangelo's famous sculpture Pieta. Our sorrowful Mother Mary holds the body of her son in her lap after he is taken down from the cross. Full of grief and contemplation, she cradles Jesus in her motherly arms. 
 
This piece can be displayed throughout the year, especially during Lent and September, the month of Our Lady of Sorrows. Use it too for your devotions to Our Lady of Sorrows. We have it displayed on our Ceramic Home Altar from Be A Heart
